Winter Wear
As we see lower temperatures please be sure to follow the guidelines in the Parent Student Handbook, page 40. No outerwear other than St. Gregory outerwear may be worn on school campus; if other outerwear is worn, we will ask for it to be removed, so please plan accordingly. All undershirts are to be white. No hoodies are permitted. Please label all personal items: school jackets, sweatshirts, lunch boxes, etc. and help your children learn to exercise responsible concern for all their possessions and those of the school.

Lunchroom Volunteer Sign Up
We greatly appreciate our lunchroom volunteers and are always looking for parents to help. Please use the link, Track it Forward, to sign up. You have the opportunity to volunteer for a shift, either 10:15-11:45 am or 11:45am-1:15pm. Lunch volunteer hours will be doubled. Thank you!

Yearbook

Yearbook sales are beginning now. Grades PK3 - 8th Grade are all pictured in the yearbook (if they were photographed). Order before January 31 to get your yearbook for $65. The price of the yearbook will increase to $85 after that date.
Christmas Nativity
Friday, November 21, 2025
Grades Pk3-4 will be participating in a Christmas Nativity on Friday, December 5. All students will be dropped off in the breezeway at 6pm. Show will begin at 6:30 in the Church. All students are to be dressed in Christmas best. Dismissal will be after the show is complete from areas in the Church.

As We Enter the Season of Thanksgiving, the Development Office is grateful for the countless blessings within our St. Gregory community. During this season of gratitude, we pause to recognize and thank the many individuals who have shared their time, talent, and treasure to ensure the success of our major events this year. Your generosity and dedication breathe life into our mission and strengthen the spirit of unity that makes St. Gregory so special.

Light up City Hall
Friday, November 21, 2025
Gather with loved ones at Plantation City Hall and celebrate the holiday season as we Light Up City Hall! The event will be on Saturday, December 6th from 5 PM to 9 PM. SGS Choir will perform at 6:30.
Bring the entire family and enjoy selfies with Santa, ice skating, snow, vocal groups, food trucks, crafts, the announcement of the winner of our "There's Snow Place Like Plantation" contest, and many photo opportunities!
St. Nicholas Day
Friday, November 21, 2025
On Friday, December 5 we will celebrate St. Nicholas Day. Students will wear red shirts and P.E. shorts. All students will complete St. Nicholas Day activities and have a picnic snack outside. Please refer to grade level emails for more information.

Send a Bear Hug

Jackson’s Burn Unit for Children: Send a Bear Hug
SGS NJHS in conjunction with Bright Angel Foundation will be collecting Bears For Burns this holiday season. The Bright Angels foundation was founded by the Hurezeanu family. Nicholas Hurezeanu spoke to the student body following Mass.
Bring comfort, courage, and a smile to young patients recovering from burns this holiday season! All students are asked to purchase a medium sized bear. Please wrap your bear in clear cellophane wrap with a holiday ribbon. All bears are due no later than December 10th.
