Lunchroom Volunteer Sign Up
We greatly appreciate our lunchroom volunteers and are always looking for parents to help. Please use the link, Track it Forward, to sign up. You have the opportunity to volunteer for a shift, either 10:15-11:45 am or 11:45am-1:15pm. Lunch volunteer hours will be doubled. Thank you!

The class of 2025 will celebrate together with a class mass and banquet this weekend followed by an end of the year celebration on Wednesday evening. We thank God for allowing us to be part of their educational and spiritual journey. We pray that all they have learned during their time at St. Gregory will help guide them and we look forward to hearing of their great accomplishments. Please keep these students and their families in your prayers. God bless the class of 2025!
Above and Beyond Ceremony

On Tuesday, May 27th at 9:30 we held our Above and Beyond Ceremony. Students who participated and excelled in programs outside of the daily curriculum were recognized including the following: Altar Servers, Catholic Math League Winners, Choir, Handbell Choir, Honor Band and State Thespian Winners. Congratulations to all our recipients!
Virtue of the Month

On Thursday following our all school mass, students in grades PK3-8 were recognized for exhibiting the virtue of the moth, Gentleness. In the Bible, gentleness encompasses sensitivity of disposition and kindness of behavior, often rooted in strength and love.

Chromebooks

All chromebooks are to remain at school over the summer. Please ensure that your child brings his/her chromebook and charger to school on Monday, June 2nd . If a student does not leave the chromebook and charger his/her report card will be withheld.
Please take time to complete the Chromebook Inspection Form by Friday, May 30th. It is important that any damage is reported in order to ensure your student has a working chromebook at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

St. Gregory School along with all schools in the Archdiocese of Miami has partnered with the Play Like a Champion Today educational series. Play Like a Champion Today is a national coach and parent education program designed specifically to elevate the culture of Catholic school-sponsored sports. The Archdiocese of Miami is requiring one parent or guardian of all athletes in grades 5 – 8 to attend the workshop. The workshop is scheduled for August 9, 2025 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School Gym at 9:00 am. More information will follow as we get closer to the date.
Canvas

St. Gregory leadership is excited to announce that next school year we will be using Canvas, Learning Management System. Using Canvas will “simplify teaching and learning activities, organize coursework, and keep teachers, students, and families connected and communicating—all in one place.” Canvas will provide streamlined communication between home and school. Proceeds from the SGS Golf Tournament will go towards the training and implementation of Canvas. More information regarding Canvas will be forthcoming.
