Update to Parent/Student Handbook 2026
The Archdiocese of Miami is implementing a new policy related to parent custody arrangements. Please see the below link for a copy of this policy, which is in immediate effect. If your child is involved in a shared parental custody arrangement, be aware that our school will be following this policy from this point forward.

A Lenten Lecture with Father Davis /Spiritual Insights for the Season
Father Davis will be offering a one-night Lenten Lecture, entitled “Spiritual Insights for the Season of Lent,” on Wednesday, March 11th in the Parish Center at 7:00pm. The lecture will explore the history, importance, and spiritual value of this annual season of renewal and conversion. All are welcome!
Lunchroom
Thank you for your continued support of our faculty and staff! From January through May, each grade from 1st through 8th has been assigned a month to assist with Lunchroom Duty. Your time allows our teachers to take a much‑needed break and enjoy their lunch. Please use the link, Track it Forward, to sign up. You have the opportunity to volunteer for a shift, either 10:15-11:45 am or 11:45am-1:15pm. Lunch volunteer hours will be doubled. Adoration on Eucharistic Thursdays

The Last Supper of our Lord was on a Thursday. In honor of this major event in the life of Jesus and His Church, the parish of Saint Gregory the Great offers weekly Adoration of the Blessed sacrament from 4:00pm to 9:00pm every Thursday, concluding with a solemn benediction ceremony at 8:50pm. Many have been partaking of this blessed opportunity. All are encouraged to receive the grace which comes from spending time with our Eucharistic Lord. All are welcome on Thursdays to pray and adore.

Lion’s Scholastic Competition at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory
On Saturday, St. Gregory 6th and 7th students participated in the annual Lion’s Scholastic Competition at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory. The purpose of the competition is to offer students the opportunity to showcase the knowledge they have acquired in a specific subject area during their elementary school years. The subject areas they were tested in were Art, Drama, English, French, Math, Music, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, and Theology.

iCan After School STEAM Enrichments
The new iCan classes for the 4th quarter are new available for registration. iCan Steam programs ignite curiosity through engaging, hands-on activities. Students meet weekly and explore rotating curricula filled with exciting new projects every quarter—many of which they get to take home. Moms of Faith

At the next Moms of Faith meeting, we will read and discuss the beginning of Interior Freedom by Jaques Philippe, which offers thoughtful and practical ways to orient our heart posture toward His love and grace through all stages of life. The book is widely available, including at Walmart and on Amazon.
