Lunchroom
Thank you for your continued support of our faculty and staff! From January through May, each grade from 1st through 8th has been assigned a month to assist with Lunchroom Duty. Your time allows our teachers to take a much‑needed break and enjoy their lunch. Please use the link, Track it Forward, to sign up. You have the opportunity to volunteer for a shift, either 10:15-11:45 am or 11:45am-1:15pm. Lunch volunteer hours will be doubled. Please see the attached schedule to see when your grade has been assigned. Thank you!

Last Day of School
Wednesday, June 3, 2026, will be the last day of school for the 2025-2026 school year. We will celebrate our last all school mass at 9:30. June 3rd is also an early dismissal day.

Grief Share Bereavement Ministry

April 20th – July 20th, 2026, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
GriefShare is a network of faith-based support, designed to help individuals navigate the loss of a loved one through a 13-week, video-driven program. It combines expert video seminars, group discussions, and a personal workbook to address grief-related emotions and at times, questions for God.
Our sessions will be held in-person offering a supportive environment for healing. To register: griefshare.org, Church Garden Room Class session: April 20th – July 20th, 2026, 7pm - 9pm. Music for America

On Saturday, May 2 at 7:00pm, our new Bluthner piano will be showcased in an evening of 2-handed and 4-handed piano music. There will also be piano and organ duets as well as violin accompanied by the Mighty Bluthner! This is a free concert. An offering will be taken. Please see the flyer for more information. Last week, at our final HSA Meeting for the year, local organizations presented activities and programs to keep our students engaged this summer. Thank you to Mathnasium, Theraspace, Sunshine Literacy, Broadway Kids Studio, Kumon, Mia's Cake House, Camp Art-Rageous, Creative Dance Studio, John Wai Martial Arts, St. Thomas Aquinas Athletics and iCan for meeting with our students and parents. Please also check out Cardinal Gibbons High School and Archbishop McCarthy High School for summer offerings.

ChiefMUN competition

Over the weekend our 7th and 8th grade debate team competed in Cardinal Gibbons High School ChiefMUN.

Juan's Resolution was passed thanks to a complete effort by all SGS members in the General Assembly: Diana, Gavin, Daniel Varon & Nick Rainone.

Lectio divina for kids

Teach your kids to pray with Scripture
The ancient prayer practice of lectio divina is a great way to teach kids and teens Christian meditation, and to lead them to the threshold of contemplative prayer. And this prayer practice has the added benefit of introducing kids to the power and beauty of the Scriptures, in which God speaks plainly to our hearts through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
