Our Fall Book Fair is around the corner! Students will be able to shop at the fair Wednesday, October 7th-14th. Visit our site to set up your child's gift card to use at the fair. Don't forget to check out our teacher wish lists to help add new books to their classrooms!All students and grandparents are invited to a special shopping time after school on Thursday, October 8th from 2:30-4:30! Adult catechesis continues at Saint Gregory with Father Davis offering his 13th Pastor's Lecture Series presentation, this time entitled "Eschatology: The Study of the Last Things, the End of Time, and the Afterlife." There will be five successive Tuesdays, during which Father will offer an hour and a half lecture, 7:00pm to 8:30pm, on the following dates: October 20, October 27, November 3, November 10, and November 17. Each lecture will be held in the church. All are welcome, but RSVP with Ginny Matheo, 954-473-6261, at the church office, so that the correct number of copies and materials can be prepared.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout the month of October, NJHS will be raising awareness and funds in recognition of breast cancer awareness month. All proceeds will benefit Gilda's Club Fort Lauderdale. For dates and more information, please see the attached flyer.

On Thursday Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s Beatification took place in St. Louis. A biography and student activity on Archbishop Fulton Sheen can be found on, The Religion Teacher. Pope Leo recently commented,“May the example and intercession of this holy bishop, known for his evangelizing work through the media, inspire many others likewise to find new ways of spreading the Gospel message with joyful enthusiasm", said Pope Leo.
