General Rules
The Auction Committee would like to remind everyone to make Christian bids.
All winning bids are final. There will be NO exchange or refund on any items.
All completed sales from this event are non-transferrable and must be used by the purchaser.
Use only the bid number assigned for bidding purposes. This is the bidder’s identification number.
The values are not warranted by St. Gregory Church & School for tax purposes or general rule.
Please pay careful attention to all conditions, restrictions, and expiration dates on items and services. Unless otherwise stated, gift certificates exclude alcohol, tax, and gratuity. Unless otherwise noted, all auction items and services must be used by March 2027. We appreciate your strict observance of these restrictions, as future donations depend upon it.
Dates for all trips and similar events must be mutually arranged with the donor, unless otherwise noted. All reservations should be made at least one month in advance. No refunds are permitted for canceled, lost, or unused tickets and/or accommodations.
Blackout dates may apply and cannot be renegotiated unless specifically noted. Blackout dates are subject to change.
All gift card usage is the responsibility of the buyer. Although the gift card and amount is currently valid, St. Gregory Church & School cannot be held responsible for the unused gift cards or certificates at businesses that may cease to operate before the expiration date.
St. Gregory Grand Auction Team has endeavored to catalogue and describe the auction items correctly, but all items are sold “as is.” No statements contained in the program or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. Bidder should carefully note the specific restrictions, conditions, and expiration dates for items purchased.
St. Gregory Church & School reserves the right to withdraw any item from the sale.
Payment by the successful bidder may be made during the designated times through OneCause or at the cashier’s desk. Payment in full of items purchased is mandatory the night of the auction. Signature may be required for verification at the time of payment.
Payment will be taken in the form of cash, check, or U.S. issued credit cards, including AMEX, Discover, MasterCard or Visa.
In case of disputes at time of payment, an Auction Committee Member will settle discrepancies.
Merchandise pick-up proof of payment must be presented at the Silent Auction pick up area to receive item(s) and/or gift certificate(s).
All Auction items should be removed from the premises the evening of the auction with the exception of items too large to be transported by car. Larger items must be picked up in the Development Office no later than April 3, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against St. Gregory Church & School or the donor for the property of services sold.
Note: When buying auction items, all contributions in excess of their fair market value of the item is tax deductible as a gift to a charitable organization. St. Gregory Church & School encourages all attendees, donors and contributors to consult their tax advisor or attorney.
