The Happiest Walk on Earth

What to Expect

This past year, our community proudly participated in The Happiest Walk on Earth, which took place on October 24, 2025. The Walkathon is one of Saint Gregory’s longest-standing and most beloved traditions, and it continues to be a favorite event among our students.

Each year, a wonderful and dedicated group of volunteers works together to support every aspect of this event. Families receive information on sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, pledges, participation, t-shirts, and more prior to the event.

Donations are accepted online through our partner company, Booster, allowing families to easily share fundraising links via email and social media that are specific to their student. There are many incentives and prizes associated with full participation, which encourage students to be a part of reaching ourfundraising goals.

Be on the lookout for 2026 kick-off information, which will be included in your August Business Day package. We look forward to seeing everyone this year. Get your walking shoes ready!

Walk-a-Thon

We will be having a virtual version of our Annual Walk-a-thon, hosted by the SGS Development Office, which enables students to acquire pledges as they exercise their way to raise money for their school. Family & Community Sponsorships are now available by either placing an ad or wording on our unique T-Shirt or direct monetary donations. These sponsorships are the only means of underwriting expenses to maximize profit. It is never too late to donate in support of underwriting costs for this event.
